Yard drainage sealantFrom: RPR4444@yahoo.com Category: Drainage/Waterproofing Remote Name: 152.163.204.209 Date: 21 Sep 2003 Time: 09:25 PM
CommentsA few monts ago I replaced/installed new drain hoses from two downspouts on the side of my house. I used the black plastic (flexible) drain hose to replace old/crumbling buried ceramic drain pipes that the downspouts were connected to. I connected two new drain hoses-from the downspouts with a "Y" connector near the foundation that connects to another new line that drains away from the house. I've since learned (after a wet basement corner) that water is running/seeping out of the Y connections. I've tried every size/shape of adaptor and connector in attempts to stop the leaks at the Y...but no luck. Is there any sealer/caulk that could be used on the connections that will hold (remain watertight) underground-and stop the leaks??
