Solvents are flammable and must be disposed of carefully. To protect the environment, refrain from flushing them down the drain.

Most municipalities offer a free toxic waste drop off for exactly this reason. Your best bet is to use a plastic jug with a water-tight screw on cap. Contact your city or county to find out where you can safely dispose of solvents.
